Pinot Noir Rosé
Vineyards

Our estate South Napa Vineyard is planted with a blend of Dijon and Pommard clones. This vineyard is head trained and cane pruned with vertical shoot positioning resulting in ideal sun exposure. In this part of Napa Valley, the San Pablo Bay creates a cool, maritime climate. Morning fog rolls across the vines, ushering in the cool breezes ideal for growing delicate, flavorful Pinot Noir. The vines here produce complex, layered fruit that translates to an earthy minerality and exceptional natural acidity in the glass.

Winemaker Notes

The Napa Cellars Rosé showcases aromas of fresh strawberry, watermelon, a nice floral component of roses and vanilla yogurt cream notes. The nose is complemented by delicious flavors of strawberry, raspberry and Rainier cherries. This wine has gentle, well-balanced acidity with a crisp finish and hints lingering fruit. For a delicious meal, pair the Napa Cellars Pinot Noir Rosé with prosciutto and melon, or toast topped with tapenade, mashed garlic, and salt.

Winemaking

The grapes for the Pinot Noir Rosé are handpicked and crushed immediately. After a cold maceration period helps to steer clear of excessive seed tannin extraction, the saignée bleed method is used. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel.
